Adoption Process & Information

So you have decided to add a loving companion to your home but have a few questions.
Not to worry, here is all the information you need to know about our adoption process!
Adoption Fees
Adult Cats: 7 months to 7 years of age ($175)
Senior cats (7 years +), Barn Buddies or Patient Paws ($75)
Kittens: Less than 7 months of age ($275) *Kittens may be adopted prior to being spayed/neutered. A $50 reimbursement will be granted to the adopters with proof of spay/neuter prior to 7 months of age.
Small breed dogs ($425)
Medium breed dogs ($500)
Large breed dogs ($550)
What’s Included in the Adoption Fee?
All of our animals come with a health check from a registered veterinarian, dewormed, microchipped and their 1st and 2nd set of vaccinations.
All adult dogs and cats come spayed/neutered.

What to Bring
When you come to the WRHS to pick up your new furry friend, please bring the following:
A kennel or crate for your pet to safely transport them home.
Government issued ID to confirm you are of legal age to adopt an animal (18+).
Documentation: If you are a renter, please bring your lease or a letter from your landlord stating you are allowed to have pets in your home.
Payment: We accept cash, credit or debit, and e-transfer.
